So a good smokey eye is something that every girl feels like they need to conquer in life, whether it be the typical black smokey eye or a more daytime appropriate brown eye. Nevertheless, it's important to us girls to accomplish this.
This tutorial is just showing ye a different take on it, that's both dramatic but also suitable for college/work/school.
(PS sorry for the bad quality of the pictures, I'm still working out how to take nice pictures haha)
- Start by filling inn your brows, however you like them. Personally, I love a strong brow. I use Rimmel Brows this Way- medium brown.
- Pat MAC eyeshadow- 'Antiqued' all over your lid, as we want a deep, brown base.
- Blend MAC eyeshadow in 'Rule' into your crease, and softening the harshness of the brown into softer edges.
- Add Urban Decay in 'Hustle' to your outer v to really darken up the eye, adding to the smokiness of the whole look.
- Line your waterline and tightline with a kohl eyeliner for added darkness and drama. Also, using a liquid liner line the inner corner of your eye into a nice winged line.
- Add mascara to your lashes, for a fuller, plumper look.
- To finish off the look, I lined my lips with Rimmel '1000 Kisses' lip liner in 'Spice' and I then used MAC lipstick in 'Coral Bliss'
